27th October 2020: IBPS PO Application Re-Opened

The IBPS has decided to conduct an additional cycle for the IBPS PO Exam. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions as of 11th November 2020 and those who couldn’t apply between 5th August to 26th August 2020 are eligible to apply as per the supplementary notification released recently. The IBPS has also released new vacancies! The vacancy count has changed from 1417 to 3517.

IBPS PO 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Talking about eligibility criteria for IBPS PO 2020, candidates must know that there are various levels of eligibility criteria and relaxation for the reserved category. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria to complete the Application form.

Age Limit for IBPS PO and Relaxation

The minimum age for a candidate to apply for IBPS PO is 20 years and the maximum is 30 years. The age limit will be calculated as of 11th November 2020. The table is given below shows the age relaxation of candidates from different categories.

IBPS PO 2020 Application Fees

Candidates have to pay an application fee, which may vary depending on the category. Payment must be made through debit card, credit card or Net banking. Once the payment has been made there is no refund.

  • Fees for candidates in the General/OBC/EWs category will be INR 850
  • Fees for candidates in SC/ST/PWB category will be INR 175

IBPS PO Interview Process

Candidates qualifying for the mains examination will be called for a face-to-face interview. The interview has a weightage of 100 marks and candidates must score a minimum of 40% to clear the personal interview round.

The time duration of the interview will be 15-20 minutes where candidates will be asked questions based on current affairs, basic economy, banking sector, as well as general knowledge.

Merit list will be made based on the marks secured in mains and interview with a ratio of 80:20. According to the vacancies available the candidates will be chosen for provisional allotment to one of the banks.
